Flotech offer two main compressor types for Power Generation known as RC & VC.
VC (Vane Compressor) are mainly used in low-pressure (<10 bar) applications, to maintain a constant supply pressure for gas engines. Flotech have developed a number of standard packages to suit Wärtsilä, CAT, MAN, Jenbacher, Rolls Royce gas engines. The VC packages can operate over a range of suction pressures maintaining constant discharge pressures with varying engine load.
The bare shaft ‘RoFlo’ vane compressors are supplied from GE.
RC (Reciprocating Compressor) are used in power generation applications requiring higher gas pressures. Flotech has developed & delivered across the globe, compression solutions for many of the standard Aero derivative and Frame turbines available on the market today. We are also the world leader in high pressure gas compression having provided many 350 bar(g)+ compression solutions for Wärtsilä gas/diesel engines.
Flotech are authorised packagers and distributors for the GE Oil & Gas range of reciprocating compression equipment.
