Gas Treatment

Greenlane Gas Treatment Systems offer solutions for dew point suppression, biogas upgrading, PSA drying and fuel gas conditioning.

Many applications require a custom-engineered solution, however Greenlane also offers a range of modular pre-engineered plants for gas drying, biogas upgrading & engine fuel gas conditioning.

PSA/ TSA Driers
Pressure Swing Adsorption and Temperature Swing Adsorption drier packages are suited to gas drying applications where low temperature dew point suppression and flow rates allow their use. Applications include CO2 & compressed air driers.

Refrigerated Driers
Conditions in biogas generating plants usually mean that gas quality from digesters is unsuitable for direct use at the gas engine generating sets. Refrigerated gas driers provide an ideal solution by chilling biogas to cause moisture condensation. Once the gas is dried, heating provides dew point elevation thus preventing saturated gas conditions forming in the gas manifolds or engine systems.

Greenlane Refrigerated gas driers have been installed into landfill sites, waste-water treatment works and biogas facilities.

Inert gas drying, from furnaces and burner systems also provide a useful process gas media for further production operations. Combustion gases are cooled in water scrubbers. The refrigerated gas drier dehumidifies the inert gas then reheats it preventing re-saturation. Inert gas driers are used at the BHP Billiton HBI plant Western Australia.

Fuel Gas Conditioning
Fuel Gas Conditioning Systems (FGCS) for power plants is an area of expertise where Greenlane know how and manufacturing capability has been used in Gas Turbine and Reciprocating engine plants.

FGCS equipment for Alstom, Te Rapa power plant in New Zealand provided filtration, dew point elevation, pressure reduction and gas flow control and well as various skid condition monitoring features.

Another plant installed at Haripur, Bangladesh offers water knockout, filtration and coalescing of a fuel gas line to a 115MW power station. FGCS systems may offer pressure reduction, heating or flow control only.
